MacBeal Transcription offers a suite of services for both the individual medical practitioner and a department of a hospital, clinic or medical institution.
Individual users get an easy to use web-based service. We utilize secure file exchange systems. Once the user has dictated and placed the digital recorder on the cradle attached to their computer, the system automatically sends the voice files via the internet securely to the server in our transcription centre. Due to the 128 bit SSL encryption, the files cannot be read by an unwanted party. Once the voice files have been transcribed, there are placed on our DocManager System. The user can log into DocManager using an internet browser and download the completed documents via a secure encrypted internet connection.
DocManager acts as a secure storage place for your dictated documents. You can access your dictated and time stamped documents for as long as you are a MacBeal Transcription customer. The charges for using the DocManager are included in your subscription fees.
Hospitals and medical institutions can utilise the same service or upgrade to a fully integrated solution which can dovetail with the existing healthcare information management systems. For more details visit our Hospital
Transcription page.
MacBeal operates within a secure system and all of the technical solutions comply to the Data Protection Act 1998 and also comply to the more stringent HIPPA guidelines of the US healthcare industry. |
